El lado oscuro del corazón
Well, today I'm gonna talk you about a movie I enjoyed, so lets start. I wasn't sure about which movie to talk about, because I wanted to talk about three movies, but I chose this one I saw in my house because a good friend told me about; "El lado oscuro del corazón".
This is an Argentinian drama film by director Eliseo Subiela and starring Darío Grandinetti. It's about a bohemian poet, who is constantly visit by "the dead" (in a woman's body of course haha) and who is looking for a woman different to the rest, in his own words "a woman who can fly". I can't tell you more about it because I don't want to tell you the movie haha.
I like this movie because the script is based on Mario Benedetti, Juan Gelman and Oliverio Girondo's texts and it has a beautiful an amazing way to show us a story, and also because Mario Benedetti has a little participation seducing a woman in a bar, reciting a poem in german language haha, it's very funny.
My favourite part of this movie is when the main character meets with the "different" girl he was looking for in the beach, and they have a dialogue where every answer is Mario Benedetti's haikus, it's beautiful. Well, I love Benedetti as you can see, haha.

ResponderEliminarI want to see it, too. Which were the other two movies?
ResponderEliminarOne of them was "The Shawshank Redemption", one of my favourites, and I don't remember which was the other one, maybe "Fight Club" or "El secreto de sus ojos".
